While our doors have been quietly open, Saturday, March 21 marks a moment we’ve been working towards — a chance to pause, raise a glass, and celebrate the people who helped bring Avenue B to life.

From the beginning, this space was imagined as something shared: a home for musicians, artists, makers, neighbors, and the creative energy that makes the Brooklyn Arts District such a special place. The encouragement and support from this community has been constant and paramount in getting to today. This evening is our way of saying thank you.
Join us as we celebrate the many collaborators who have already shaped Avenue B — the musicians who’ve filled the room with sound, the creatives and vendors who’ve helped create its character, and the Brooklyn Arts District family that has welcomed us so generously.

Expect live music, good company, thoughtful wine, well-built cocktails, and a night dedicated to the people who made it possible.

As the voice behind Winston Avenue’s dynamic sound, Preston has built a reputation for his magnetic stage presence and authentic storytelling — songs that speak to life, love, and the roads that shape us. Whether performing with the full band or solo, his sets strike a balance between high-energy grooves and intimate, soulful moments.

We’re excited to have Big Cypress Mariculture joining us for our Grand Opening, providing complimentary oysters for the evening (While supplies last).

Founded by first-generation shellfish farmer Jack Eynon, Big Cypress Mariculture reflects a deep connection to coastal waters and a thoughtful approach to sustainable seafood. With roots in hands-on fisheries work and marine research, the project is grounded in both experience and care for the ecosystems it depends on.

Join us in raising a shell — and a glass — to local growers, good company, and the community that makes it all possible.

As the sun begins to set, we’re proud to host a not-to-be-missed jazz session featuring a rotating cast of musicians who have been instrumental in shaping the sound and spirit of Avenue B. This stand out line-up — including Dave Hessel, Aaron van Nynatten, Radford Carrick, and Blase Settecase — represents a lineage of players who have become deeply woven into the identity of the room.

These are artists who don’t just perform here — they help define the culture of the space, night after night. Expect an open, evolving set shaped in real time, with special guests joining throughout the evening.
